Jamie Jenkins – Brother & Son

Founder of JNJ Building Services Ltd

Jamie is the proud founder and visionary leader of our family-run construction company, Jamie was raised in a family where hard work and integrity were the cornerstones of success, and he developed a deep appreciation for the construction industry from an early age. Those childhood lessons, combined with formal education and hands-on experience, laid the foundation for what has become JNJ Building Services Ltd.

 Jamie has a friendly and approachable demeanour, which builds lasting relationships with clients. Clear communication and a collaborative spirit are at the forefront, ensuring that client visions are brought to life with a personal touch. With 18 years in the industry, he has steered the company with a commitment to excellence and a passion for building structures that stand the test of time.

Beyond construction, Jamie is actively engaged in community charities. He believes in giving back and is dedicated to making a positive impact in the communities where he lives and works. Jamie is training for Ironman 70.3 Nice in France and running marathons to raise as much money as possible for the charities he supports.

Ben Jenkins – Brother & Son

Director of JNJ Building Services Ltd

Ben is the dynamic director of our family-run construction company, whose unique blend of construction expertise and electrical qualifications sets him apart in the industry. With a solid foundation in electrical engineering, Ben brings a technical edge to our projects, ensuring that every aspect of our construction incorporates the latest advancements in electrical systems and technology.

Armed with a degree in electrical engineering and several years of hands-on experience in the field, Ben seamlessly integrates his electrical knowledge into the construction process. His keen understanding of electrical systems enhances the safety, efficiency, and sustainability of our projects. From the initial design phase to the final inspection, Alex ensures that our constructions meet the highest standards in both structural integrity and electrical functionality. He fosters a positive work environment, encouraging open communication and teamwork among our construction professionals.

Nigel Jenkins – Father

Director

Nigel is the esteemed patriarch and director of JNJ Building Services Ltd, with a legacy spanning four decades his knowledge of construction is unquestionable. With a wealth of experience accumulated over 40 years in the construction industry, he stands as the guiding force behind the company’s success. Passing all his knowledge to his sons the family company has an incredible future.

Nigel has experience as a qualified heating engineer, roofer, and specialist lead expert and has owned multiple successful businesses. He developed the LOTS scheme (living over the shop) where he purchased the upper parts and sold on with the build package to local councils for Notting Hill and Shepherds Bush. He has grown a large property portfolio and has investments overseas.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Nigel competed in the Junior Olympic Four in rowing for Great Britain and trained for many years in his early life. The batten has now been passed onto his sons.

Lee Jenkins – Uncle

Carpenter

Lee is a qualified wood joiner and site carpenter with 35 years of experience also completing his apprenticeship in the family business. He specialises in bespoke joinery items for our luxury clients. He works on all our construction sites fitting our staircases, kitchens, doors, and all 2nd fix items. In his spare time, he continues to support his beloved football team QPR.

Qualifications:

  • 3 Year Apprenticeship in bespoke Joinery -LSC
  • Level 3 Advanced National Vocational Qualification in Joinery Carpentry.
  • City & Guilds Joinery Apprenticeship 3-year

Carl Jenkins – Uncle

Carpenter & Roofer

Carl is a qualified site carpenter and roofer who completed his apprenticeships in the family business with 35 years of experience. He has worked on many of our high-end properties in London. He oversees carpentry operations for all our loft conversions, rear & side extensions, roof structures and specialist carpentry projects.

Favourite Building: Petronas Towers, Malaysia

Qualifications:

  • 3-Year Apprenticeship in Carpentry and Joinery -LSC
  • Level 3 Advanced National Vocational Qualification in Site Carpentry.
  • City & Guilds Apprenticeship 3 year

Marius Drozd

Project Manager

Marius has an MSc in Construction Project Management gained from London South Bank University. He also holds the Site Management Training Scheme (SMSTS) and holds the Professionals and Management CSCS card. He has been involved in Construction for 10 years, he has played a major role in building some large-scale schools across London for a top-tier contractor. He has been a Clerk of Works for the National Science Museum, London, completing the following schemes, Supporters Centre, Science City, Tim Peakes 3D virtual experience and the main gift shop. This position that he carried out is particularly relevant as it has taught him the importance of quality in all stages of construction. In his spare time, he likes to practice photography.

  • MSc Construction Project Management
  • Experience. 5 Years in Consulting / Main Contracting

Daniel Drozd

Site Foreman

Daniel is a very experienced site supervisor and is fundamental to the running/operations of all JNJ sites. He likes to keep a tight ship with the site’s housekeeping, taking site deliveries and is often found assisting in groundworks and bricklaying works, including the site set-up. Daniel likes travelling and food.

Qualifications:

  • NVQ Level 4 Diploma in Construction Site Supervision

Florin Drozd

Head of Structural and Demolition

Florin holds a wealth of groundwork knowledge and is also very experienced in the field of demolition. He is also very knowledgeable in the areas of drainage, foundations, steel construction and structural support. He is also competent at driving and operating heavy machinery. Florin is a keen Manchester City supporter and enjoys BBQ time with his family.

  • level 2 NVQ in Demolition and Refurbishment Operative

Luke Swano

 Head of Plumbing

Luke is a very experienced heating engineer/plumber and has worked across the residential and commercial sectors. He is very experienced in fitting complex heating systems from design to completion. He is also certified in part P electrical. Luke in his spare time keeps a keen eye on the stocks and shares market and enjoys family time.

Qualifications:

  • Advanced level Apprenticeship in Plumbing in the Building Services Engineering Sector.
  • Level 3 NVQ in Mechanical Engineering Services – Plumbing (domestic) – City and Guilds.
  • BPEC Certificate in Gas Engineering – Domestic

Vasyl Lompas

Head of Tiling

Vasyl is a tiling expert and has tiled many high-end bathrooms, kitchens, wet rooms, and mosaics both internal and external across London. He is also responsible for installing many of the underfloor heating systems. Vasyl works often works with designers and tile suppliers. He is a specialist when it comes to laying Greek tile designs. He has worked across the world. He enjoys wine, food, travelling and spending time with the family. 

Qualifications:

  • Level 1 NVQ Certificate in Wall and Floor Tiling
  • Level 2 Diploma in Wall and Floor Tiling.
  • Level 2 NVQ Certificate in Wall and Floor Tiling for Property Maintenance

Brian Restall

 Electrician 

Brian is one of our original electricians and employees he started when JNJ was originally formed and works alongside Ben. Brian also has a wealth of experience in bricklaying and holds years of detailed site experience. Brain is a keen motorcyclist and enjoys fishing.

  • City & Guilds 2365 Level 2 in Electrical
  • City & Guilds 2382 in Electrical

Lee Ellis

Head of Plastering

lee is a skilled tradesperson who specializes in applying plaster finishes to walls, ceilings, and other surfaces to create smooth, even, and aesthetically pleasing surfaces. Plasterers work in various construction and renovation projects, both residential and commercial, to enhance the appearance and durability of interior spaces.

 Level 2 National Vocational Qualification in Plastering

Mihai Bondea

Site Carpenter

Mihai is Carls’s right-hand man helping in all the busy days of 1st fix carpentry. He specialises in the construction and assembly of wooden structures on the construction sites. He works collaboratively with other team members, such as architects, engineers, and fellow carpenters, to bring the structures together. Mihai loves to play 5-a-side football.

Qualifications:

  • Level 2 National Vocational Qualification in Site Carpentry

Jonny Raspopa

 Demolition Expert

Jonny is a highly skilled professional responsible for safely and efficiently bringing down structures and buildings. He possesses a unique set of skills that combines engineering knowledge, technical expertise, and a deep understanding of safety protocols. Jonny can speak Greek and loves to travel.

Qualifications:

  • level 2 NVQ in Demolition and Refurbishment Operative

Stephan Tenger

Head of Decoration

Lee approaches the task of decorating a house with creativity, attention to detail, and a focus on meeting the client’s needs and preferences. By carefully curating furnishings, accessories, and decorative elements, they transform ordinary spaces into inviting and stylish environments that reflect the personality and lifestyle of the homeowner.
